Empowering Bab Al Tabbaneh and Wadi Al Nahle: Advancing Sustainable Water Access under the Shabake 2 Project
The new project, “Sustainable Water Access and Community Empowerment in Bab Al Tabbaneh and Wadi Al Nahle,” is set to make a significant impact under the Shabake 2 program.
Recent meetings with municipality and community representatives, along with local WASH committee members, marked the start of this initiative. In these sessions, we presented our findings on multiple borehole assessments in Tabbaneh and Wadi Al Nahle and discussed potential solutions to enhance the project’s impact. The boreholes will be equipped with solar systems to improve water access in these areas, accompanied by WASH activities and awareness sessions.
The attendees showed great interest and shared valuable insights. Stay tuned for more updates as we work together to empower our communities and ensure sustainable water access!
The Shabake 2 project is supported by AFD – Agence Française de Développement and the Centre de Crise et De Soutien and implemented by the French public agency for international technical cooperation Expertise France.
