On March 4th to 6th, 2024, UTOPIA hosted a dynamic roundtable event, delving into the perceptions and understanding of Community Based Protection (CBP) and Community Led Protection (CLP) approaches. Engaging 12 focal points and 12 representatives from local and international NGOs, the discussions were rich with insights.

These discussions were enriched by valuable input obtained from key informative interviews and focus group discussions conducted previously. They shed light on opportunities, challenges, and the pivotal role of the community in protection.

This event is part of the “Frontline Community Protection Capacity” project, implemented in collaboration with Oxfam and funded by the Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA).
