Citizen Journalists Organize a Hybrid Dialogue Session Connecting Youth from Tripoli and Akkar
A Dialogue Session Bridging Two Communities
As part of the “Baynetna: Dialogue & More” project, citizen journalists organized a final dialogue session that brought together youth from Tripoli and Akkar in a hybrid format combining in-person participation and online communication.
The session created a unique opportunity for young participants from different regions to connect, exchange experiences, and engage in constructive dialogue despite the geographical distance between them.
One Dialogue, Two Locations

The dialogue session connected two youth groups simultaneously. Participants from Tripoli gathered at ABJAD Socio-Cultural Center, while youth from Akkar joined the session from Learning Land Center in Bebnine.
Through this hybrid setup, the session allowed both groups to interact, introduce themselves, and discuss shared interests and perspectives.
Exchange of Ideas and Local Experiences

The session featured open discussions where participants shared their experiences and highlighted aspects of tourism in Tripoli and Akkar, shedding light on the cultural and natural assets of both regions.
In addition to the discussions, the meeting included interactive activities and games designed to encourage participation and strengthen communication between the two groups.
These activities helped create a relaxed environment where participants could exchange ideas and explore potential opportunities for future collaboration and joint initiatives.
Dialogue Beyond Borders
The session demonstrated how dialogue can take place even when participants are in different locations. By combining digital communication with in-person engagement, the activity highlighted the potential of hybrid dialogue formats in bringing communities closer together.
The initiative reaffirmed that meaningful dialogue remains possible when spaces for communication, curiosity, and collaboration are created.
