On May 2nd, 2024,  we welcomed a new group of citizen journalists at a dynamic kickoff meeting. During this session, participants were introduced to the project’s goals and objectives, and engaged in interactive activities designed to foster connections and collaboration.

As we move forward, we are eager to see the contributions of our new citizen journalists and the positive impact they will have on addressing important community issues and spreading the dialogue.

“Baynetna: Dialogue and More” is a project implemented by UTOPIA Organization in partnership with Deutsche Welle Akademie Middle East / North Africa. It aims to empower citizen journalists in marginalized areas of North Lebanon, Akkar, and Bekaa by providing comprehensive training and support to facilitate the creation of diverse dialogue formats tailored to the specific contexts of these regions.
