Empowering our Community Structures: Training on Data Collection and Safe Referral
Under the “Empowering Vulnerable Communities: A Holistic Approach to Resilience in Tripoli” project implemented by UTOPIA in partnership with Oxfam in Lebanon and funded by the Belgian Development Cooperation (DGD), over three days, UTOPIA organized an intensive training on “Data Collection and Management, Safe Identification and Referral” for the community groups, including women and youth groups in addition to community focal points.
Attendees received comprehensive training on the data lifecycle, ethics, and the process of data collection and management. They also learned about the definition of referral, how to conduct safe referrals as community members, and explored referral challenges and best practices.
The training utilized team activities and interactive material, ensuring high engagement and interest from the participants.
