In line with its commitment to bolstering community protection efforts, on January 15th and 16th, 2024, UTOPIA hosted a two-day training session as part of the “Frontline Community Protection Capacity” project, implemented in partnership with Oxfam and funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA).

The training was designed to equip frontline responders with a deep understanding of two crucial approaches: Community-Based Protection (CBP) and Community-Led Protection (CLP). Through immersive sessions and interactive discussions, participants gained invaluable insights into the principles and methodologies underpinning these approaches.

By empowering frontline responders with enhanced knowledge and skills, the project aims to catalyze a more cohesive and coordinated approach to community-led protection programs. This collaborative effort seeks to bridge the gap between local and international stakeholders, fostering synergy and collective action in safeguarding vulnerable communities.
