Two Insightful Sessions on Cyberbullying and Protection Strategies

Jul 30, 12 PM

As part of the “Baynetna: Dialogue and More” project, our citizen journalists have recently hosted two dialogue sessions on the critical issue of “Cyberbullying and Protection Strategies.”

On July 18, the session took place at Al Hadatha Association in Berqayel Akkar. Following this, on July 26, the second dialogue session was held at Abjad Center – UTOPIA Association. Both sessions featured the premiere of the first episode of the podcast created by our citizen journalists, which served as a catalyst for engaging discussions on cybersecurity, effective methods to combat cyberbullying, appropriate responses, and the role of parents in safeguarding their children.

These sessions brought together diverse perspectives and experiences, enriching the conversations and fostering a deeper understanding among participants. These sessions exemplify the project’s commitment to creating open and constructive community interactions.

“Baynetna: Dialogue and More” is a project implemented by UTOPIA Organization in partnership with Deutsche Welle Akademie Middle East / North Africa. It aims to empower citizen journalists in marginalized areas of North Lebanon, Akkar, and Bekaa by providing comprehensive training and support to facilitate the creation of diverse dialogue formats tailored to the specific contexts of these regions.
