The Women Empowerment program includes the following:

A- Awareness-Raising Courses

Women empowerment is in fact a form of social justice and human development. From this standpoint, UTOPIA organizes seminars for women from disadvantaged areas in Tripoli such as Bab Al Tabbaneh and Dahr Al Megher on a variety of issues such as drugs abuse, personal and public hygiene, cancer, diabetes and mental health. This is done in cooperation with international NGOs and specialized volunteer doctors. UTOPIA also conducts frequent health services such as Electrocardiography (ECG) and child vaccination.

B- Vocational Training

UTOPIA also provides women from disadvantaged areas vocational courses on handcrafts, sewing, and other income-generating skills that are sure to have a positive long-term impact in terms of improving living standards and reducing poverty of these women and their families.
